2. Today is Monday, April 5, 2010.
3. Tomorrow will be Tuesday, April 6, 2010.


* We read I Went Walking.


* We read our new story Will Rick Get His Wish?.  We worked on these 3 -ick rhyming words:
1. Rick
2. sick
3. quick
(We also reviewed these -ick rhyming words: kick, lick, and pick.) 


* We worked with our spelling words.  We reviewed how we use the words he, him, and his for boys and men and her and she for girls and women.  We also sorted our words by the number of letters.


* We worked with these 4 actions and commands:
1. count to ten
2. say the alphabet
3. write the word
4. read a book


* We completed this page:
Phonics Level K page 68










HOMEWORK
* Read the 3 calendar sentences above.


* Read I Went Walking (posted last Sunday).


* Read Will Rick Get His Wish? (posted yesterday) and read and spell the 6 -ick words above.


* Complete the spelling words homework paper I am sending home and return it to school tomorrow in your backpack envelope.  Our spelling test will be Thursday!


* Read and do the 4 actions and commands above.
