* We read How Many Fish?


* We read Lon and Ron.  We focused on these 8 words with the "short" o sound (like octopus):

* We sorted our spelling words by the first letter of each word and practiced using them in sentences.


* We practiced reading and writing these 4 questions and answers:
1. How many pencils?  Six pencils.
2. How many markers?  Five markers.

4. How many erasers?  Four erasers.


* We continued our Nn letter study.  We sorted pictures and words by those that begin with Nn and those that do not begin with Nn.
