TODAY
* We read Fish Mix and How Many Fish?.  We found our spelling words in the stories and worked on the -ay and -ish word families.


* We sorted our spelling words by those that end in -ay (and rhyme!) and those that do not end in -ay and practiced using them in sentences.


* We continued our Ll letter study and sorted pictures and words by those that begin with Ll and those that do not begin with Ll.


We identified these 10 words and pictures that begin with Ll:

9. leaf

We identified these 6 words and pictures that do not begin with Ll:

* Complete the spelling words homework paper.


* Read and spell the 10 words above that begin with Ll and the 6 words above that do not begin with Ll.
