TODAY
* We read Fish Mix.


* We read our new story How Many Fish?.  These are the words:

* We read the poem Always Be Kind to Animals by John Gardner.  These are the words:

And furthermore, they bite.


* We started our Ll letter study.  We sorted pictures and words by those that begin with Ll and those that do not begin with Ll.


We identified these pictures and words that begin with Ll:

We identified these pictures and words that do not begin with Ll:

* We completed these pages:

HOMEWORK
* Read Fish Mix (posted last Sunday) and How Many Fish? (words above).

* Complete the spelling words homework paper I am sending home.  Our spelling test will be on Thursday!

* I am sending home the paper reviewing the consonants s, t, b, h, m, k, j, f, and g.  Please keep it at home and use it to practice and study the letters, pictures, sounds and words.  

* I am sending home the poem Always Be Kind to Animals.  Read it and the letter on the back introducing Phonics Level K Unit 2.

* Read and spell the 6 words above that begin with Ll and the 2 words above that do not begin with Ll.
