* These are our 3 calendar sentences:
1. Yesterday was Sunday, February 28, 2010.
2. Today is Monday, March 1, 2010.
3. Tomorrow will be Tuesday, March 2, 2010.


* We read our story What Pam Can Do.


* We also read our new story Look at That!.  It is about a boy who is looking at the clouds.  We found 8 of our 10 spelling words in the story.


* We started our Hh letter study.  We sorted pictures and words by those that begin with Hh and those that do not begin with Hh.


These 7 words begin with Hh:
1. house
2. hippopatamus
3. hat
4. heart
5. hose
6. hug
7. hammer


These 2 words do not begin with Hh:
1. bed
2. sink


* We completed these pages:
Phonics Level K page 35 and 37












HOMEWORK
* I am sending home a spelling words handwriting homework paper.  Please complete it and return it to school tomorrow in your backpack envelope.  Your spelling test will be on Thursday!


* Read the 3 calendar sentences above.


* Read What Pam Can Do (posted last Sunday).


* Read Look at That! (posted yesterday) and find 8 of our spelling words.


* Read and spell the 7 words above that begin with Hh and the 2 words above that do not begin with Hh.
