TODAY

* These are our 3 calendar sentences:

1. Yesterday was Sunday, February 21, 2010.

2. Today is Monday, February 22, 2010.

3. Tomorrow will be Tuesday, February 23, 2010.

* We read our story Oh, Cats!.

* We read our story What Pam Can Do.  

We worked on these 5 vocabulary words:

1. hat

2. bear

3. crab

4. octopus

5. seal

We worked on the word all, which is in these 2 sentences:

1. Pam can make it all go up!

2. It all will come down.

* We worked on the letters Ii, Jj, Kk and Ll and the words igloo, jump rope, kangaroo, and lion.  We also worked on these shapes: triangle, circle, square and heart.

HOMEWORK

* I am sending home a spelling words handwriting homework paper.  Please complete it and bring it back to school tomorrow in your backpack envelope.

* Read the 3 calendar sentences above.

* Read Oh, Cats! (posted last Sunday).

* Read What Pam Can Do (posted yesterday) and the words above.

* Your spelling test will be Wednesday!
