* We read our story Oh, Cats!.

* We read our new story What Pam Can Do.  These are the words:

* We got our 10 new spelling words, all of which are on our alphabet word wall.  These are our 10 words:

* We worked on our 8 “My _____ is on the _____.” sentences from last Thursday and we practiced writing the words my, is, on and the.

* We reviewed these 4 letters and words.

Ii is for igloo.

Jj is for jump rope (and Jessica!).

Kk is for kangaroo (and Kareem!).

Ll is for lion (and Lara!).

* We completed these pages:

Phonics Level K pages 31 and 32


* We read our book Put Me in the Zoo by Robert Lopshire.  It has color words, number words and rhyming words!

HOMEWORK

* I am sending home a paper with our spelling words and flashcards.  Our spelling test this week will be on Wednesday!

* Read the 3 calendar sentences above.

* Read Oh, Cats! (posted last Sunday) and What Pam Can Do (words above).

* Please read and spell your 10 spelling words above.

* I am sending home Phonics Level K pages 31/32.  Please keep this paper at home and practice the words and sentences using the pictures.
