* These are our 3 calendar sentences:
1. Yesterday was Tuesday, February 9, 2010.
2. Today is Wednesday, February 10, 2010.
3. Tomorrow will be Thursday, February 11, 2010.


* We read our story The Nap 3 times.  We also answered questions about the story and found 15 words we know in the story, including our 10 spelling words!


* We practiced our spelling words to get ready for our spelling test tomorrow!


* We continued working on Bb.  We identified words that begin with Bb and words that do not begin with Bb.


These are our 7 words that begin with Bb:

4. bicycle
5. bell
6. boot
7. bat


These are our 2 words that do not begin with Bb:
1. table
2. sun


* We continued to work on our numbers.  We practiced numbers, colors and shapes together with these 5 sentences:
1. There are 6 green triangles.
2. There are 7 orange stars.
3. There are 8 red circles.
4. There are 9 purple hearts.
5. There are 10 blue squares.

* Our first spelling test is tomorrow!


* I am sending home a homework paper to help us study for our spelling test.  In the first part, circle the spelling words that are spelled correctly and put an X on the spelling words that are not spelled correctly.  Please finish it and return it to school tomorrow in your backpack envelope.


* Read the 3 calendar sentences above.


* Read The Nap (words posted Sunday).


* Read and spell the 7 words that begin with Bb and the 2 words that do not begin with Bb.


* Read the 5 sentences with numbers, colors and shapes.
